Truly Local, Truly Co-op

At Wild Rose Co-op, being local isn’t just a slogan—it’s who we are. Since the beginning, Co-op has been locally owned and operated, supporting the communities we serve across Western Canada. We are proud to be part of the economic development in our region, collaborating with Western Canadian farmers, ranchers, and manufacturers who grow, raise, and produce the products we bring to your table.

We work closely with these suppliers to ensure that fresh produce, high-quality meats, and innovative new products are always available—right here in Western Canada and at your local Co-op. Our commitment to local goes beyond our products; it extends to the partnerships we build. That’s why we are proud to partner with Flagstaff County for the Flagstaff Market, bringing truly local businesses into our Food Stores. This collaboration allows us to showcase the best our region has to offer, from farm-fresh ingredients to handcrafted goods, all sourced from passionate producers and entrepreneurs in our community.

Our Commitment to Canadian Products

While many of our Co-op and Centsibles branded products are packaged in Canada, not all contain 100% Canadian-grown or manufactured ingredients. Like other retailers, Co-op partners with private label suppliers to fulfill our product selection. However, we take pride in the Canadian products we do offer that are grown, produced, and packaged right here at home.

Some of these include:

✅ Co-op Gold Pure Pickles – Grown in Saskatchewan and bottled in Saskatoon
✅ Co-op Gold Pure Hummus – Grown and made in Saskatchewan
✅ Co-op Gold Kettle Cooked Potato Chips – Grown and produced in Surrey, BC
✅ Co-op Gold Pure Fruit Spreads – Made in Saskatoon using fruit from across Western Canada, including North 49 Fruit Corp in Alberta
✅ Wild West Steelhead Trout – From Lake Diefenbaker, Saskatchewan
✅ Co-op Gold Pure Tzatziki – Produced in Kelowna, BC
✅ Alberta Beef – The beef sold in our stores
✅ Co-op Berkshire Pork – Raised and processed at Valley Lea Farms and Winkler Meats in Manitoba (the Bangers are amazing!)
✅ Co-op Gold Pop – Made in Edmonton

Beyond these, we proudly offer hyper-local products such as:

🌿 Fresh cucumbers and tomatoes from Holden and Medicine Hat
🍫 Flagstaff Crafted Products – Chocolates from Brown’s Curiosities, handmade soaps, candles, and locally made salsas
☕ Fresh Roasted NRG Coffees – Locally roasted for a rich, fresh taste

Supporting Local in Every Way

Our commitment to local even extends beyond food. Did you know our gasoline and diesel are made with Alberta oil and refined at our Co-op-owned refinery in Regina? The profits from this refinery are shared back with every Co-op member across Western Canada who purchases fuel from Co-op.

At Wild Rose Co-op, we recognize the importance of supporting Canadian businesses, not just in times of need, but always. We are dedicated to sourcing as many local products as possible, ensuring that when you shop at Co-op, you’re supporting local farmers, producers, and families.

Wild Rose Co-op: Your Community. Your Co-op.
