Supporting Tomorrow’s Leaders Through 4-H Alberta

Wild Rose Co-op is proud to support the next generation of agricultural leaders through the Co-op Growing Leaders program — a new initiative developed in partnership with 12 other Alberta Co-ops, Federated Co-operatives Limited, and 4-H Alberta.
Together, we’re investing in the future of agriculture by removing financial barriers for first-time 4-H participants. For the 2024–2025 program year, our group of 13 Co-ops is proud to contribute $50,000 as Gold Clover Sponsors, following a successful first year that funded 209 new 4-H Alberta members with $26,000 in support!

What is Co-op Growing Leaders?

The Co-op Growing Leaders program is designed to encourage new participation in 4-H by covering up to $200 in membership fees for youth who are brand-new to 4-H Alberta. This includes:
• Provincial registration fees
• Local club fees

Whether you're joining as a Cleaver Kid or Senior Member, this program is open to anyone who has never previously been involved in 4-H Alberta.
