Wild Rose Co‑op Gives Back to Our Communities
At Wild Rose Co‑op, supporting our communities is at the heart of everything we do. Thanks to the generosity of our Members and customers, along with Co‑op’s commitment to giving back, together we made a meaningful impact throughout the year.
Good Buy to Hunger
With your support — and a $15,000 matching contribution from Co‑op — our annual Good Buy to Hunger program raised an incredible $41,290.23 to help local families in need.
This total includes:
Flagstaff Food Bank: $23,036.55
Camrose Neighbor Aid: $18,253.68
Your generosity ensures our local food banks can continue providing essential support to community members.
Fuel Good Day
On Fuel Good Day, every litre pumped helped make a difference. Thanks to strong community participation, we raised $7,669.91 in support of the Snacks in the Stacks program at the Camrose Public Library — a program providing accessible snacks for youth and families visiting the library.
Legion Poppy Campaign
In honour of our veterans and in support of local legions, Wild Rose Co‑op contributed $1,520 to the annual Poppy Campaign.
Additional Community Support
Beyond these major initiatives, Wild Rose Co‑op proudly supported local organizations that help youth stay active and connected:
- Camrose Softball Association
- Rose City Curling Club Little Rockers Program
These programs play an important role in building confidence, teamwork, and community for young athletes.
